These blogs are hosted by the spiritual abuse website, though all blog posts may not reflect the views of the owner. As such, each blogger is alone responsible for the content of their posts.
It is hoped that this will become a place where various people who have exited unhealthy churches will share their stories, their road to sorting through the teachings and practices of their respective groups, and anything else which may help people to heal and recover from their experiences.
If you wish to join our growing list of bloggers, please use the register link listed under the ‘meta’ section. You will be contacted by email. Be sure to choose a username (no spaces please) that cannot be traced to you if you wish to blog anonymously. Blog posts must somehow pertain to spiritual abuse, your experiences, unhealthy church practices and their erroneous teachings. We welcome those who left any type of unhealthy church or group that claims to be Christian. You have a story to tell and words of wisdom to share if you have exited an unhealthy group.
This is a Christian based website. That doesn’t mean non-Christians cannot blog here. We just ask that you do not promote other religions, atheism or agnosticism.
If you wish to share our articles, please do so via the social sharing options or direct links. Brief quotes are fine, but copying and pasting an entire article, especially without providing the source, is not. Feel at liberty to comment on any blog as what you share may be helpful to others. Comments are moderated due to spam, but once one has been approved, future comments do not require approval.
